María Torres

I am a philosopher of science whose work is situated at the intersection of technoscience, activism, and contemporary artistic practices.

I am currently conducting research as a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Arizona in Tucson, and I work with community archives on both sides of the border.

For several years, I have collaborated with the Colorado River Family Archive, an artist collective based in Mexicali, and I am a member of the Arizona Queer Archives.
